Photography has always held a special place in my heart. It allows me to express feelings and thoughts without a single word. I recently embarked on a remarkable journey, one that turned my passion for photography into a celebrated achievement. I am excited to share how I been awarded the prestigious Creatio Magna award at the Lumen Art Gallery art competition. This experience marks a significant milestone in my artistic path and really does fuel my desire to capture the beauty of the world through my lens.
The Lumen Art Gallery is famous for showcasing various artistic talents, offering a platform for both newcomers and established artists. When I learned about the competition, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. I decided to submit a photograph that I believed truly reflected my artistic vision—an image that resonated deeply with my experiences and emotions.
The Submission: Anger

Anger is my attempt to depict a universal but often silenced experience. For me, grief is not just something we feel after death. It lives in change, disappointment, injustice, the fracturing of identity, and the quiet erosion of what we once believed to be true. In this piece, part of my conceptual series The Five Stages of Grief, I portray a figure thrashing against the invisible weight of transformation. Suspended in a dreamlike void, the scream is not about violence but something sacred and necessary. Through photography and digital design, I try to make the internal visible. I want to give emotion a body and shape, to turn the unseen into something that can be felt with the eyes.
A Moment of Recognition
To my immense joy, my photograph was announced as a winner of the Creatio Magna award! The thrill of receiving this honour is indescribable; it felt like all my hard work had paid off in that very moment. I now stand alongside exceptionally talented artists, each sharing their stories of creativity and perseverance.
Receiving the award included a beautiful certificate that I will treasure forever. This symbol of recognition not only acknowledged my efforts but also highlighted the support from the Lumen Art Gallery and their belief in the arts. Holding this award truly feels like a connection between my dreams and reality.

Future Aspirations
I feel more determined than ever to expand my portfolio and explore different themes in my photography. What's next? I am eager to enter more competitions and potentially curate my own exhibitions. There is a world waiting to be explored, and I cannot wait to make my visions come to life.
